Our Full Suspension brands are Trek and Whyte.

Trek have got probably the best line-up of full suspension bikes currently available in the UK.We are showing here 4 different categories of their bikes - the Top Fuels,which are lightweight 100mm travel,the Fuel EX with 120mm travel, the longer travel Remedy with 150mm and new for 2012 the Slash range with 160mm rear travel.The biggest and most popular range is the 120mm Fuel EX family,with an excellent combination of high performance and value for money,starting with the EX 5 at £1350.

Whyte are at the forefront of advanced full suspension design.Jon Whyte was Marin's suspension engineer from 1996 and brought out hugely successful designs,transforming Marin into a major player in full suspension.Although Marin are a Californian company Jon was an English engineer,introduced to the company by Marin's UK importer,ATB Sales.Marin didn't want to run with Jon's more advanced designs,feeling they weren't right for their US market and because of this ATB Sales created Whyte as a stand-alone British company.Since then Whyte have produced a succession of superb industry leading designs.Recently Marin have become (or so we think here at Stanley Fearn's) a little too conservative and seem to have lost their edge in the suspension battle. Meanwhile the Whytes just get better and better. Being a much smaller company than Trek they have a much smaller range of bikes,but they are brilliant,cutting-edge designs and stand comparison with anything out there in the world of mountain biking !
